The Company

Virtual Motorpix is a motoring and motorsport photo agency based in the United Kingdom (Wales). In addition to our own extensive photo collection, Virtual Motorpix represents several professional contributing photographers in the UK, Europe and the United States. Our photo collection contains many thousands of images, including both contemporary and classic road-going performance vehicles and prototypes, mainstream marques (from the Abarth to the Z1), some more unusual vehicles, such as tanks, lorries, tractors and busses, as well as components, accessories and vehicle crash testing.

Virtual Motorpix also offers an extensive selection of motorsport images from around the world, spanning many different eras. Our drawers are filled with action shots from most race categories (F1, F3, Le Mans, Historics, Indy, ALMS, LMS, GT, NHRA, Grand-M, Rally, etc.), trackside shots (at Silverstone, Oulton Park, Croft, Brands Hatch, Spa, Nürburgring, Sebring, Daytona, Mosport, Watkins Glen, etc.), drivers and teams, as well as all the pit lane action. Some of our images date as far back as the 1950s.

In support of our photographic collection, our information archive has recently benefited from the amalgamation of the vast resources of Motor Industry Archives and Automotive Research. This joint resource contains information on just about any automobile, technical subject, motorsport, component, test project or accessory, with records dating back to the dawn of the industry itself.
